The King's Men continues the gripping saga of Neil Josten and the Foxes at PSU. Neil is racing against time, aware that his life is fragile, yet the bonds he's formed with his team and especially with Andrew make walking away impossible. The novel masterfully blends high-stakes sports drama with intense emotional tension, exploring themes of loyalty, love, and survival. Neil's struggle to balance his own survival with his promises to his friends and team keeps readers on the edge of their seats.
Sakavic's writing shines in capturing the complexity of relationships under pressure. The dynamic between Neil and Andrew is raw and compelling, and the constant threat of danger adds a sense of urgency that propels the story forward. Fans of the series will find themselves deeply invested in the Foxes' journey to championships while navigating personal demons and external threats.

This is everything. From the characters I didn't like at the start to the ending of the ones I hated all the way. Even the small characters, the bad ones -Hello Lola!- and the Oh My Dear, You Can't Be Real Jeremys. The story the story the story, and all the ups and downs, the sport, the feeling, the feelings.
... So good.
