One of my all-time favorites. Love the symbolism and prose! Love the contrast between the glamorous and shimmering lifestyle, and the deep sadness of the characters.

I was supposed to have read this in 10th grade but didn't finish. Finally I got back to it & read it all in a day. I liked it, but the greatness of it didn't jump out at me like I was hoping. I think there is more to it then what I garnered, so a re-read may be in order...
