I love that every time I read this book I get something new out of it. The first time I read it I hated it because I thought everybody was stupid and selfish and ridiculous. The second time I read it I understood more clearly what it feels like to feel trapped in your situation (even though I don’t actually feel like that myself). This most recent time that I have read it I really can’t stand Nick Caraway.

What can I say? I’ve been obsessed with this book since I had to read it in school. I love all the metaphors in it.

Classic novel that gives perspective to social life in the roaring 20s. There are parties, drama, romance, and death. Makes for a fun short read.

Its far from the best book I have read, but it wasn't terrible. Almost makes me want to reread some other high school assigned books. Almost
