What an enthralling conclusion to this fabulous trilogy! Following the end of ‘Exodus’, I needed this story to find peace with Tobias after his cruel actions, especially after Cecelia's return to Triple Falls.
This book took us inside Tobias's head, revealing the truths behind his decisions. We experienced his pain, guilt, and loneliness, as well as the sacrifices he made for love and the betrayal he faced from his brothers.
The first 70% was filled with angst, emotion, and passion as Tobias fought to win Cecelia back. His struggle to trust her was frustrating, especially since she needed honesty to forgive him entirely. Cecelia's strength and determination were inspiring.
The final 30% was unputdownable, with an incredible twist I never saw coming.
Returning to the Ravenhood brought me closure, and the epilogue was both tearful and joyful. Thank you, Kate Stewart, for this epic story! I’d love to hear Tyler’s story next!
Long and slow. Explains a lot. And the way the relationships are repaired and move on was memorable.
Such a good book. Not as much as emotional roller coaster as the first two but I love the story line. More and more things coming to the surface. Cecilia definitely surprised me
