I don't know why I tend to get drawn into books like this, given the silliness of the teen romance elements, but the mystery of what's really going on has me hooked. I'm saving the third book for the holiday break.
Once I got past the first story (which was very confusing at first but I just couldn't put it down because it actually still held my interest) I became hooked and could NOT put this book down! The characters were loveable and yet mysterious. I felt a NEED to help decipher what was going on with Mara and was cheering on the relationship between Mara and Noah, despite the odds against them. Their relationship wasn't perfect, which I loved - and yet was the perfect blend of patience and acceptance for who one another was.
