Now this is what a Hallmark movie-style book should be! Wellâ¦maybe with a little more heat than your typical Hallmark movie. Donât let the sweet name and cozy cover fool you, though! This book is spicy! Good Girl Hazel and Reformed Rake Noahâs love story was cute, captivating, and so much fun to follow. It felt a lot more natural and engaging than Jeanie and Loganâs romance in book one, in my opinion. The story leans into some classic romance tropes: friends to lovers, age gap (Hazel is older), lots of spice, and of course, a happy ending.
I loved seeing familiar faces from Dream Harbor pop back in. It has such a Stars Hollow (Gilmore Girls) charm. And while I wasnât totally invested in Jeanie and Loganâs story before, I was happy to see them continuing their happily-ever-after here.
