WOW. I am a big believer in going into mystery/thriller titles blind and this one is no exception.
Freida! I loved this! I thought I had this entire book figured out, but boy did I have the rug ripped out from under me! The dual POV/timeline was done exceptionally well. I was never confused on where or who I was with. I thought I had the killer figured out from the beginning and NEVER in a million years did I guess who it would be. The conclusion she leaves to draw about characters from the past and who they are in the current timeline is incredible, it's all part of the twist!
Well done! Can't wait to continue to read everything Freida McFadden writes! I literally consumed this entire book in one sitting.
Thank you, NetGalley, Freida McFadden and Dreamscape Select for this ALC in exchange for my honest review.

This book was confusing to me at first but it came together later on as the "plot twist" was brought to light. I didnt like the 2 different stories being told at the same time with both stories being from a different phases of life. This story could have been better without so many characters being mudered everytime you reach a new chapter. I was wondering if there were going to be anybody left at the end of the story. This book was a 'no' for me.
