Yes, Yes! This book was everything that I needed it to be! And, the ending! What am I to do with myself while I wait for book 3??
2nd book is better than the 1st. I still firmly believe the other series this author writes must be a precursor to this series. Our FMC references a past life that was never written about in a way she expects the reader to be aware of. I still haven't looked into it because... at this point I already know how that series ends if I'm correct in my assumption. It's a bit frustrating, I'm not even sure I would've continued to this series had I read the first series given how I know the first series, if there is one, would end. Anyway about this book. The FMC/MMC relationship is fickle. Drake has serious emotional issues that he needs to work through in therapy. But, ladies, let's be honest we read these books for the over bearing sometimes controlling males who would make us come twice before we finish together. Morally grey is my favorite color after all. We have an interesting creature plot twist I didn't expect until half way through and then I saw it and it wasn't who I thought it was.... trying not to spoil things. Im excited for the next book it comes out next year! Let's go!
