A solid standalone with strong corruption themes and unhinged energy. Joe Arden delivered as always.

Could not keep in the story. Had to make myself finish it. Found it boring and predictable. Felt like it was an effort to keep it dark. Should have just been a regular stalker book, all the extra seemed gratuitous and a grab for the dark label.
Mentions the church a lot but doesn't use it to really mentally affect Briony, she flew past that pretty quick. Definitely not a psychological book.
