You won't want to put it down and might be thinking about Hawke and random times of the day...

Wow such a great book. Even the bonus chapter. Wish that stayed as part of the book. I will have to re read it including it. The spicy was 🌶🌶🌶🌶

The books FMC was very immature for me, she kept blaming the MMC, and although I believe it’s because she did suffer some emotional trauma she never took true accountability for her actions. The beginning wasn’t very good, the middle was muddy, and the ending felt rushed as did their emotional relationship. The spice however was about every other page, and that I did love won’t lie… some parts could be cringy but overall enjoyable.

My friend told me to read this, so we read it together. I wasn’t sure at first since I have seen this book floating around socials but I was just not interested. But I’m so glad my friend had me read this!

This story follows Nicole’s journey into finding her inner voice. She grows so much by the end of the book that you are rooting her in the whole way. There were times that you wanted to slap her upside her head but there are definitely times where you really are cheering her on.

Nicole is a very young woman, naive to love and feels she’s found the one she will spend the rest of her life with in Patrick. Her long term boyfriend from college. They move in together after a couple years and everything seems to be going according to plan, until Hawke shows up to topple her whole world upside down.

Tensions start to run high when Nicole (Nic to Patrick/ Cole to Hawke) starts feeling awakened by Hawke’s blatant sex appeal. But there is also something lingering under all of the added tension of having Hawke and Patrick under one roof. Are they friends? Is someone not telling the full truth?

You HAVE to read this book! It’s a stand alone, so no other books to have to buy. The romance was so good, but the story line was so well written too. Everyone kept saying that this is a dark romance. If it is, it’s not dark in the sense I was thinking. There are just some very strong emotions that the characters work through that could be dark.

But to be safe I always suggest reading the triggers and ENJOY THE RIDE!
