Tale of the Heart Queen: Artefacts of Ouranos, Book 4

The epic fourth novel in the irresistibly sexy BookTok phenomenon . . .

Some mistakes can't be undone, and Lor now faces the crushing consequences of her wild, fae magic. She's already set events in motion, and there's no escaping the relentless pursuit of the Aurora King. Everyone wants something from her, and her list of enemies keeps growing, each more powerful--and vindictive--than the last.

Lor is fighting for more than just her freedom. She's fighting for her soulmate, her family, and for a chance to bring peace to Ouranos itself. But with every blast of her uncontrolled Heart magic, Lor risks not only the lives of those she loves, but making the same, doomed mistakes as her grandmother. Ones that ripped the very fabric of the kingdom apart.

Lor has no choice but to follow the path before her. Because powerful forces now shape and shift her fate--and the Heart Queen now faces the ultimate test . . . if she's ready.

The last book in a series always wins me over. Everything I’ve sat through—the occasional nonsense, the slow plot build, the gradual character growth, and even those drawn-out history lessons—suddenly feels worth it. That is the magic of a good finale. It pulls the threads together, answers the questions that have been poking at the back of my mind, and leaves me with the kind of ending that makes me smile when I close the book. And let me just say, the slow-burn romance was worth every single page of waiting. Yes, it ignited in the last book, but in this one, we get to see just how much love there is truly. Watching it finally be this meaningful and tested thing is deeply satisfying and gave the conclusion an extra layer of warmth and payoff. No, this book is not a masterpiece, and neither is the series, but it was thoroughly enjoyable. It was an easy, unique read with just enough “Aha!” moments, and that was more than enough to keep me happily turning pages until the very end.

Every plot line was neatly tied up with a bow. Was it a good time, yes. Was it predictable, also yes. The author gave us some diversity, violence, spice, and flash backs that did not work against the plot. The writing style wasn't my favorite, but not everything is a masterpiece. I love mutiple POVs, keeps me from getting bored with the same character monologues. I would definitely read another series by Ms. Nisha J Tuli
