As my first EH book- I was pleasantly surprised. It had the perfect mix of romance and suspense. It introduced me to the EH characters that would revisit in the next book I read of hers. At first, the amount of characters can feel overwhelming; however, she builds each one so memorable that you can’t help but recall each one instantly.
Love her Nantucket series (this is the last alas!0. I am a former resident of the Island, so always enjoy references to familiar venues.
