AN INSTANT NATIONAL BESTSELLER

"A BINGEABLE FIVE-STAR READ." --ABBY JIMENEZ, #1 New York Times bestselling author

"I loved it--brims with heart, wit, and longing."--CARLEY FORTUNE, #1 New York Times bestselling author

The romantic and hilarious story of a professional organizer whose life is a mess, and the summer she gets unstuck with the help of someone unexpected from her past, by the bestselling author of Nora Goes Off Script.

Benefits of a summer romance: It's always fun, always brief, and no one gets their heart broken.

Ali Morris is a professional organizer whose own life is a mess. Her mom died two years ago, then her husband left, and she hasn't worn pants with a zipper in longer than she cares to remember.

No one is more surprised than Ali when the first time she takes off her wedding ring and puts on pants with hardware--overalls count, right?--she meets someone. Or rather, her dog claims a man for her...by peeing on him. Ethan smiles at Ali like her pants are just right--like he likes what he sees. He looks at her like she's a younger, braver version of herself. The last thing newly single mom Ali needs is to make her life messier, but there's no harm in a little summer romance. Is there?

Summer Romance was a nice beach read novel. 📚 ⛱ The Main Character is going through alot in her life. She has lost her mom and she has also lost herself being married to a man who is not right for her. She learned to be herself again, to stick up for herself and to find the right partner with whom she can be her true self. An empowerment story of finding her voice again. Her love interest has liked her since High School and remains her of her worth and what he always saw in her. The characters were fun loving. I could see this novel turning into a movie. 🎬 I liked the symbolism of organizational skills, the widow's walk and skateboarding 🛹 in this novel.

Fun-tastic (to quote Cliffy)! This is a summer beach read that hits all the right notes. Ali (Alice) is struggling to get her life together while her soon to be ex-husband is living his best life. She is juggling her business, taking care of three kids, one dog, and a house that is in serious need of being organized. One fateful day at the dog park has Ali connecting with someone from her past; someone who admired her from afar and will help her be that spontaneous and hopeful girl she once was. This story takes the reader on a roller coaster of emotions with much laughter, some tears and heartbreak and the promise for a champagne summer!

If only you grew up in a small town, went back and had no idea who someone was. Falling in love seems easy in this way. Annabel Monaghan thoughtfully combines divorce, single motherhood, and finding life's next chapter with a unique cast of characters that work well together with a small town feel. She doesn't over complicate the story of a hometown feel where love and future are possible. A fun, quick summer read. Worth it for a break in today's nonstop news cycle.

Love Annabel Monaghan books, loved this story but at times the writing felt a little robotic rather than real
