Nora Goes Off Script

Filled with warmth, wit, and wisdom, Nora Goes Off Script is the best kind of love story—the real kind where love is complicated by work, kids, and the emotional baggage that comes with life. For Nora and Leo, this kind of love is bigger than the big screen.

Loved it! Not sappy at all. Loved the writing and imagery. A very pleasant cup of tea!

A very fun, no-so-typical Hollywood, without being set in actual Hollywood, love story. Definitely would recommend to those who like this genre!

Very cute. I love a celebrity/normal person romance, but gosh the miscommunication trope is THE WORST.

Heartbreak feels good in a place like this. Ohmigod, this book is a roller coaster of emotions. There’s no need to discuss for it is all internal. If you’ve been hurt, read it. If you’ve hurt, read it. OUCH!

There's something very different about this book. Nora knows herself so well even in the beginning and it feels almost impossible for her to change, but she does. Monaghan's writing is unique from the usual style of this genre in that she's very internal and direct. There are no magic moments. I think the fact that the protagonist knows so much about romance and very clearly points out when the romantic magic moment should have happened but didn't is what makes it so much more painful.
