So Not Meant to Be: A Steamy Enemies-to-Lovers Billionaire Romance (Cane Brothers, 2)

When enemies are forced to share a penthouse, the only thing more dangerous than their banter is the temptation that follows. A steamy, laugh-out-loud romantic comedy perfect for fans of slow-burn tension and irresistible chemistry.

Kelsey Gardner has always known where she stands with JP Cane: firmly on opposite sides. He's the cocky, maddeningly attractive billionaire who makes her workdays feel like battles--and now, thanks to one ill-fated business trip, he's her unexpected roommate.

Trapped together in a luxury San Francisco penthouse, Kelsey and JP are one elevator ride away from disaster. Or desire. Because no amount of witty comebacks or slammed doors can hide the sparks flying between them. And the longer they're stuck together, the harder it is to remember why they're "so not meant to be."

So Not Meant to Be delivers the perfect escape for romance readers who want it all: enemies-to-lovers heat, hilarious forced proximity hijinks, and heart-melting emotional moments that stay long after the last page.

Yessss! Great character development. Who knew that JP would be so quirky with his love for pigeons? I didn't immediately read this #2 Cane Brother book, but after reading Right Man, Right Time by MQ and JP makes an appearance (with an inside joke as well) I knew I had to come back and read this book. And in this book, a podcast highlights other couples (from other books) that I now want to get to know!

This alternative universe that Meghan Quinn has developed with her character is so fun. I love how things are mentioned in other books that make it all interconnected.
