Second Grave on the Left (Charley Davidson)

I feel like I would be a lot more into this series if it was just about a crime-solving-spunky-P.I. who could see dead people who also happens to be the Grim Reaper... but I’m still having issues with the super paranormal aspects that remind me of the show Supernatural. Plus making love to an incorporeal being, is a little odd. I don’t know. Just the whole “son of Satan” love interest and with them being portals to Heaven and Hell. Eh. It didn’t wow me. I may or may not continue on. It honestly depends on how I feel. It’s a shame though, because I love the main character.

Absolutely love these books! The sarcasm, witty humor, mystery, the interactions of all the characters just keeps me entertained the entire book. Can’t wait to see the outcome of Charley and Reyes’ relationship..
