This one isn’t my favorite in the trio but I was still a huge fan. First of all, if you aren’t familiar with these, make sure to read the trigger warnings. Not only because they are informative and important for you to know if this is a book you’d enjoy, but also cause they are hilarious. Brynne Weaver does such a great job of mixing the dark and thrilling concepts with the romantic and comedic ones making these books so great to enjoy. For me, Fionn wasn’t my favorite Kane brother so I wasn’t as into knowing his story but he did really grow on me. I don’t love the resistance to show feelings but honestly it’s relatable. Rose is hilarious and outside of her relationship with Fionn I loved seeing her gain a family with Sloan and Lark as well. Having read B&B and L&L I knew the alternate storylines so it was great to see all of it weaved together and wrapped up at the end. I’m so sad this trilogy is over and cannot recommend these books enough. I will absolutely be diving into more Brynne Weaver books in the future!

First, I have to say I was disappointed that this audiobook had the same narrators as Leather & Lark. Don’t get me wrong, they were incredible! But I couldn’t separate their voices from Lark & Lachlan. It was hard to get into because I couldn’t separate their voices from the previous characters.
Now for the story, Rose was funnier than I was expecting and I laughed out loud every time she unalived someone. She clearly didn’t have the stomach for it lol. I definitely have a soft spot for Fionn. Also his name isn’t that special but hearing it in an Irish accent was absolutely delicious 🤤 The letters between Rose & Fionn at the end brought this story up to 4 stars for me.
Overall, I liked this better than book 2 but not as much as book 1. I don’t think the characters were as fully developed as the previous books but the spice was spicin! It was an enjoyable story and I will miss these characters.
