Omgg 10/10✅. It was a little messy but this teaches women not to settle for less ,what one man won’t do another man will Period !

I enjoyed the writing style of this book which is why I gave it an 8, there was something more that I needed from the story but overall a good read

Raheem didn’t know what he had until it was gone. He wanted Rhythm and after finally getting a chance at love with her, he played in her face, with his label mate Imani. After being heartbroken, she ended up in what she thought was a one night stand with Channing.. whom also happened to be Raheem’s producer that she wasn’t aware of at the time.. to end up being fully invested in their entanglement.. they developed a great friendship into relationship and eventually into marriage.. a lot happened on the way to help the love blossom, including his Grams dementia.. it was a super cute love story

I liked this book but it feels as if something was missing. Not sure what but there was a lack of something in the book that I didn’t get. I do love that the author tells the story in first person from each persons perspective per chapter instead of third person.wouldn’t necessarily read again.
