I loved this book. No exactly what I expected but still, so interesting. Even though Andi was on the surface a character I wouldn't expect to relate to, it was so well written I felt her pain and really wanted to know what would happen next.
A few small quibbles, when Andi was leaving for the flea market and her mother's doctor called her father, I expected more from that. Also, the seller of the painting in the flea market seemed a bit superfluous, and Donnelly never made anything out of the painting Andi wanted so badly, but still, I still need to give it five stars, haven't devoured a book like that in quite a while.

Very intriguing book. Loved how when she read the journal it was as if the other character was still alive and brought you right into the other girls perspective. Although I did wish it had ended with her in the catacombs like Alex was . For me after that just felt very rushed and pushed together it would of been a 10 out of 10 for my if she had died the same way Alex did and the book ended there.
