This was okay. It had its funny moments, but it was also a little corny and cheesy at times. Second chance romance doesn’t seem like a good novella idea, since it usually requires some depth, and that’s where this one fell short.

A cute "Escape - the Piña Colada Song short story

This is a classic man falls on sword so he doesn't hold the girl back from her dreams. Thereby leading to an entirely misunderstood falling out and utter failure of the relationship. When they meet-up years later, all the heartache still strongly etched in both his and her memories, they seem to resent each other openly... Then suddenly she starts receiving mysterious letters to which she responds, while he is still wallowing in his own misery upon her return to town. Not long after he starts receiving letters and the two exchange letters with the mystery people while finding a way to tolerate one another.... And still the story goes. Too predictable or an outcome, but still a cute quick read.

Aaww

I’m not big in Christmas season and idk when I lost the interest but this is a cute story of how I’d like to get it back. And I like how it shows how devastating miscommunication can be. Honesty is the best policy.

It was cute and festive, your basic run-of-the-mill Hallmark plot in a short story
