Lilliana Young is stuck in her pattern of safe and boring, literally watching the world pass her by. With pressure from her parents to be the perfect socialite, the last thing she needs is an Egyptian prince with godlike power rising from the dead. But once he attaches to her nothing can shake him loose. Now she has to travel with him to Egypt to raise his brothers and stop Seth, the god of chaos, from destroying the world. Will Lilliana have to make the ultimate sacrifice to help him?
I loved this book! It had great character development in Lilliana, who went from a self-bound girl, limited by others expectations to a powerful woman who makes her own decisions to protect those she cares about - no matter the cost. I also enjoyed the elements of Egyptian mythology. If youâre a fan of Rick Riordanâs Kane Chronicles series, or Rick Riordan in general, you will really enjoy this book. Itâs the first book in a series, so look for book two next fall!

If you love Egyptian mummies and a romantic love story, this is for you. I happen to love both!! I am drawn to the Egyptian gods and their backstories and how they would play out in modern times.
Absolute fun read and it has compelled me to read the Kane Chronicles but in graphic novel format, this time.
