Okay I love, love, loved this book. Like definitely going in my top reads. Like I will admit this books has got to be one of the most erotic and macabre reads I’ve read. Like that one scene where the demon prince dips the meat of a satyr in Peter Pans blood, shook my a little, lol. But that Captain James hook scene with Peter Pan, forever favorite smut scene. Also can we just give applause for Captain James Hook. Like that man has every reason to be a villain, and Peter Pan can go fuck himself for being a selfish, self centered, bitch. My favorite quotes, well one of my favorites, but this one stuck with me; “Allow her a chance to fall and very well may fly.” Like the difference between a boy in love and a man in love. A boy in love will shield you from the world, never letting you fight cause he think he’s protecting cause you’re too fragile. A man in love will trust your instincts, never underestimate your abilities. Because the choice is always yours to make, because he sees how capable you are, the fact that he doesn’t own her. He’ll let you fly, because he’s so in love with you that the thought of imprisoning you hurts him more than it hurts you. He lets you fly and admires your beauty as you shine. That’s why I would choose Captain James Hook. Cause he truly loves Gwen. Like you see that from the moment he lets her leave to the mortal world in book two, respecting her choice even if it tears him apart. Peter Pan and the lost boys never did this, like they did opposite! Maybe I’m wrong but other than the fact that James hook, and Peter Pan were “mortal enemies” that’s the reason they hated Captain James hook so much, cause they saw like true love, and not just because of the mate bond from the divine. Also I love the fact we more Gwen is a fucking badass scenes in this book! And in my opinion that’s cause she wasn’t suffocated by the lost boys most of the time in this book. In fact she had to go save their fucking asses! Whilst Mr. James tagged along being a supportive unproblematic king, already accepting that besides being betrayed by Peter Pan, he was going to have to learn how to get along with him, because he loved Gwen, and Gwen loved peter(🙄), also the a fact that if it weren’t for Peter, he would’ve never met Gwen. Captain James Hook supremacy!!!!!!!
