Second to the Right (The Neverland Chronicles Book 1)

This book was amazing, the retelling and everything. However I didn’t like how Peter Pan was portrayed in the end, and obsessive and manipulative. I do love how Captain Hook was presented, because that is one sexy pirate🤭

I’m not a fan of polygamy, but this story being so fictional and magical helped me compartmentalize and cope with it a little.. the spice was great. HOWEVER when she started getting all hot for hook, I dropped a star.. she just became a floozy to me at that point.. if it was meant to be a forced quid pro quo situation, that would’ve helped her reputation for me but she was way to willing and he didn’t have to try that hard to make that scenario believable. I’m also torn on the whole leaving the sister behind for so long like that just to have great sex.. she should’ve immediately gone back and brought her sister with her.. there’s probably some magical cure for her there too.
