3.5⭐️. Nina has never met the perfect man that has all of the traits she wants, so she...dates them all! Why settle for 75% when you can get the full 100% out of 4 or more guys?! But then, if you have one who is foine, has money, is fashionable, shows you the time of your life and takes you to pound town, what more do you want?! I've got to say that this book didn't necessarily draw me in, but I'm glad that I gave it a listen. It was hilarious! I had several LOL moments, esp when Nina checked the guy at the airport about his hips and when Aaliyah (from Cur Girl Summer) said, "it was a scheme that Todd set up"...iykyk I couldn’t stop laughing 🤣 The story was good and funny, but a tad too long for MY liking so it became draggy at times. And some situations were repetitive. And if she squeezed her thighs together one more time I was going to scream, but, looks at my man and, yes, I get it 😝 I also would’ve liked more intimacy and touching moments over multiple sexcapades. I love Danielle's books and how she creates fun dates, friendship goals and a lively reading experience! I love her wise cracks and humor sprinkled throughout. Wesleigh’s narration makes you feel as though you’re listening to her rave & cackle about her own fun curvy girl modeling moments and incredible sexy exploits!

Thank you Macmillan Audio, NetGalley and Danielle Allen for this arc of Plus Size Player. Admittedly, I dove into this story without reading the first book, "Curvy Girl Summer." If I'm being candid, I'm actually listening to it as I pen this review—talk about multitasking! But let’s get to the juicy stuff we’re really here for: "Plus Size Player" is a sizzling contemporary romance that’s sure to leave you breathless! Meet Nina, a fabulous plus-size fashion influencer who’s unapologetically living her best life with a lineup of men that would make anyone envious. She’s got: - The fun one - The smart one - The funny one - The romantic one what’s refreshing here is seeing Nina as the "player" instead of the one being "played." i definitely vibe with her approach to dating—keeping her options open until she finds the best match. in today’s dating scene, this often gets misinterpreted as being a “player,” but Nina challenges that notion in the most empowering way! as Nina juggles her charming roster, Russ—the former "fun one"—starts to steal the spotlight. sparks begin to increase and suddenly, the idea of exclusivity is on the table. But just when things heat up, a bombshell drops that could derail their budding romance—a "no fraternization policy" looms like a cloud over them! the chemistry between Nina and Russ is electric! the way he advocates for and protects her is beyond alluring. and let me say, Nina's confidence is a force to be reckoned with; every time someone tests her, she stands her ground—and baby, i was here for it! overall, i adored this read! it’s a read of passion, humor, and empowerment. i can’t wait to devour more of Danielle Allen’s work! this book is an absolute must-read!
