I really loved Nina and Russ! They both stood on business about what was important to them. Nina is confident and sexy, she is the plus size fashionista and role model I wish I had growing up. Russ was a a romantic who was successful, attractive, and very intentional about everything. Russ never let anyone disrespect Nina, and Nina didn’t take any shit from anybody. I loved their romance. Throughout the story I was just praying the other shoe wouldn’t drop with him, <spoiler>and even when they did have their conflict he realized the fucked up and corrected himself because his anger was misdirected. </spoiler>

Book2 in this series goes along with Book 1.. Nina had been self guarded and dated multiple guys because she felt like she couldn’t get all the “things” in just one person. That is until she really started enjoying “The Fun One” in Russ. He was a businessman and CEO that always planned fun dates with her and she enjoyed him the most. Scarred to let go of her roster, she finally did as her feelings developed the most for Russ. They never spoke about where they worked, only briefly on what they did. An unexpected opportunity for Nina being plus size model, landed her at Russ’s company. But there was a no fraternization clause in her contract. Trying to get around stipulations and still crave Russ, they had to figure it out. It was a cute book.

Plus Size Player is a short, steamy, and over-the-top romance that doesn’t hold back on the spice or the swoon. Jessa Kane delivers a fast-paced story packed with heat, possessive energy, and body positivity. The heroine is curvy, confident (or learning to be), and the hero is obsessed in the best, most dramatic way. As with most of Kane’s novellas, Plus Size Player is not about slow burns or subtlety it’s about instant attraction, intense passion, and fantasy fulfillment. The plot is light, but the chemistry is scorching, and the plus-size representation is unapologetically sexy. If you love quick, dirty reads with an adoring alpha and a curvy heroine who finally gets treated like the prize she is, Plus Size Player is a fun and fiery pick.
