Playing for Pizza

What a fun get away story! I grabbed this gem from a Free Little Library and felt like I'd found a treasure. It was just the ticket for a light, quick trip into the worlds of football and Italy. The story was good but what I loved most were the descriptions of the Italian food, people, places and of course, learning more about football. My friend told me that if I read it, I'd want to go to Italy and she was right!
Given that I just finished The Lager Queen of Minnesota by J. Ryan Stradal, where I learned a lot about beer and now Playing for Pizza where I learned more about football, I might have met my prerequisite preparations for attending an NFL game somewhere - even if it's a local pub!
