Omg, Mr. BendMeOverBennett, I love you, but we NEED to talk about these serious possession issues because sir, you are unhinged — and I ate up every second of it. But HOW do you go after the woman you claim to love while actively helping her search for her father's killer - KNOWING IT'S YOU?!? HUH?? Be so fr right now. The mental gymnastics Hayden was doing to justify that had me screaming. Like, what was the plan here?? Just gaslight, gatekeep, and hope for the best?? And the buildup was SO GOOD. The tension, the chemistry, the slow burn that had me on edge the whole time - just for it to all explode at the end with that cliffhanger?!? I WASN'T READY. My heart actually fell out of my chest, and now I have to sit here and suffer until the next book. But despite the stress, betrayal, and emotional damage, I LOVED this book. Hands down, no regrets, fully obsessed.

10/10. This was my first spicy book and it was just the right amount for my first. It definitely kept me on my toes the entire time and the plot twist at the end. It made me want to read the second one immediately. If you’re going to purchase one, purchase both.

LOVED. Disappointed my lawyer isn’t like Mr. Bennett. Be prepared to immediately want to continue to book two because the cliffhanger gets you.
