Now You're Mine: A Dark Stalker Romance

Being without her isn't an option for me. Or her.

The Protector
She's in danger. Just the thought of this threatens my sanity.
I'll do anything to keep her safe... Even things that she doesn't agree with.
If she thinks stalking her was bad, Calista's in for a surprise.

The Prisoner
Hayden is certifiable. And I love him. What I don't like are his methods of protection.
Except the more perilous my life becomes, the closer I get to him...
And the secrets he's keeping from me. Soon, I don't know who poses the greater risk:
the villain out to end me or the one in my bed.

Now You're Mine is the final book in the Possessing Her duet. This book contains explicit sexual content and a morally gray hero that's over the top jealous/possessive, a stalker who falls first and harder, has Touch Her & Die energy, and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her. A complete list of the trigger warnings can be found on the author's website.
This print edition includes a bonus chapter.

It pains me to say this, but I did not enjoy this book as much as I did with the first one, and I really loved the first one. Hayden in this book was way too possessive and dictating to the point where I was actually rooting for Calista to escape him. And Calista was way too forgiving and accepting of everything. Also, a lot of the chapters seemed uninteresting and more like filler episodes, the excitement didn’t really pick up until the last few chapters but i digress. However, I am a sucker for happy endings and their ending was beautiful… With that being said, this book was a major let down for me, and Harper was the best character.

It pains me to say this, but I did not enjoy this book as much as the first one…. and I really loved the first one. fo Hayden in this book?? WAY too possessive and controlling - to the point where I was actually rooting for Calista to escape him at times. And Calista?? Way too forgiving. Like, girl, stand up!! I needed more from her. Also, so many chapters felt like filler episodes - I was lowkey bored for a good chunk of the book. The excitement didn't really pick up until the last few chapters, which was frustrating. BUT, I am a sucker for happy endings, and I won't lie - their ending was beautiful. That being said... this book was a major letdown for me. Harper carried, and that's all I'm gonna say.

10/10 that was the most messed up, but most heart warming ending I could’ve read. Happy tears through and through.
