A mandatory read for anyone like myself: too young to know the birth of cyberpunk, but enthralled by it nonetheless. Without Gibson, there is no cyberpunk, yet, unlike so many of our forebearers, Neuromancer holds up impeccably. The few anachronisms add to its charm and the writing is detailed, if a bit abstract. I can't say I adored the book, but it is certainly very good.
