The Eclectic Reader Book Club

Originally called Books: An Essential Ingredient, our club has been meeting to enjoy life's essentials—good books, good company, lively conversation—since 2017. With our new name and our recent arrival on Bookclubs, we look forward to welcoming new members to our group!

As the name implies, we read a wide variety of books: fiction and nonfiction from different cultures and genres, beloved classics as well as recently-published works. Members tell us this is one of the reasons they love the group; it introduces them to books, authors, and genres they otherwise would never have read. Members are encouraged to share their book recommendations.

We read and discuss two books each month. Meetings take place online on the first Tuesday and third Thursday of the month.
