I love Brynne Weaver and the way she writes! The Ruinous Love Trilogy is one of my favorite dark romances not just because of the characters and the concept but the humor. They do such a great job of mixing genres and making you love the darkness. I’ve also read Tourist Season and can’t wait for the rest of the Seasons of Carnage series so getting this novella so fun. It’s a quick read and not nearly to the level of the full books but you get a great story from Sloane and the love she has for her new family - with the gore and humor as well. I’d say if you’re a fan of the series this is a must read.
Oh it was so much fun to read about all the couples again!!! I was cracking up throughout it. It’s a short read but so much action in it. I hope we get more novellas in the future. 🥰
