I saw this going in a totally different direction. Was hoping for darker. Still a “cute” story though.
This is my first dark romance. At first, I felt guilty that I was enjoying it. However, once I got going, I fell in love. I listened to the audiobook. I absolutely Loved Elana Wolf and Jacob Morgan! Highly recommend this book!

A masked man, a traitorous cat (lol), thirst traps for days, an overworked nurse and another intruder to the party....Aly sure does have her hands full, in more ways than one. And in here "dysfunction" family and her taste in men and here we are.
Definitely enjoyed this from start to finish. The main female and male characters chemistry and easy banter made me feel like I knew them. I can get where the hype came frome on #booktok and enjoyed the ride from steamy scenes to testing their resolve with true crimes. This is a book I am happy that I had a physical copy of for my shelf. 🥰
