4.5 rounded up. They found love in a hopeless place… literally

I read through this book as quickly as I could - I could not put it down! It is definitely fast-paced.

It was hard to read at points, reading about the abuse that Mae and her sisters went through was hard. I also found it hard to look past the heavy amount of slang used in this book. Now, I know there is a reason for that and that it adds to the character development but having women be called bitch still irked me, even though it was explained why.

What also adds to the book is how unique the storyline is, I think that is one of my favorite things about this book - I have definitely never read another like it!
