Listened to this audiobook on a road trip and I enjoyed the narrator and the way it was written. The ending seemed a bit cobbled together and left you with a lot of unanswered questions. Left me a bit frustrated
Very Irish. Very interesting. This story is based on a crime drama surrounding 2 heinous crimes in rural Ireland, but what I found the most compelling were the portrayals of the friendship between the two primary detectives and the psychology they used to solve the crimes. Lots of hard lessons in this one, and some pretty realistic detective work.
An intricately woven detective tale with interesting characters and unexpected twists. There are points in everyone’s life that they wish they had made a different choice, but were too blind or ignorant to notice what they were doing at the time and this story hits that point strongly home.
