I LOVE A MISSING PERSON TROPE 😭
And I love a Janelle Brown book! 🫶🏽
It goes without saying this book is perfect. Estranged twin sisters has been a common trope lately but I’m not mad about it. I’ll Be You had a strong plot, character development, and some jaw dropping moments. The exploration of identity, addiction, ambition, and sisterhood adds real emotional weight, making the suspense feel personal.
As always, Brown delivers. No crumbs. No notes. Just pure excellence.
I liked it, but didn’t love it. It’s hard because I just want to compare it to her other book, which I loved when I read it!
A little slow, but interesting story
