Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch

The world will end on Saturday. Next Saturday. Just before dinner, according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, the world’s only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655. The armies of Good and Evil are amassing and everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture.
Oh, and someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist.
Put New York Times bestselling authors Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman together . . . and all Hell breaks loose. In a very good way.

i vaguely wanted to read this before i watched the show, and it was a lucky day book so i said sure why not? but if you really want to read this book i think you’ll like it a lot. i was also in a mentally stressful time when i read this + i read it over a fairly long time, which may have affected my enjoyment of it.
(or maybe i just don’t love funny books? i didn’t love hitchhikers guide either, but i chalked that up to age at reading.)
