Honestly I think with how good books 1 & 2 were, I’m disappointed with how this trilogy wrapped up. At the end of the day, it was a good book but for me it didn’t pick up and get good until the end. When compared to other fantasy series, this is still a top contender, but the story definitely fell off for me
This was a good ending to this series. I felt like the end dragged a bit, but it wasn't terrible. There were a few twists i didn't see coming and enjoyed. Overall this was a decent series. It had me interested to see what happened, but I wasn't dying to read the next book right away.
Okay - LOTS of twists in this book that had me ready to throw my Kindle! I liked the ending for the main characters but Kitts story feels... wrong. He deserved better in my opinion.
I don't know what I just read, but it was nuts but in a not good way. Even though we got some things about things going on, I feel like some things came out of nowhere and looking back, I'm not sure there really was a purpose to them.
As the official “end” of the trilogy, pieces began to fall nicely together. The quips from Edric were seemingly out of place, but other than that I enjoyed this one.
