Absolutely loved this book! This is written like a journal / dairy if you will from each of the Queen's of Henry VIII, it also includes a short journal from the King himself after each Queen. The ones I found absolutely fasinating were the entries from:

Anne Boleyn and her take on why she felt she was beheaded....what an eye opener that was and boy was she smart...she really gave the court a run for their money and explains why the other queens were not able to go on trial after.

Anna of Cleves was very good as well and what a tramatic entrance into the court she had, her entries were well written, gave you a true sense of being there, I felt.

Catherine Howard, you really felt sorry for this young Queen. Especially because at this time the King was as big as a bear and his leg...what, forgot all about his leg from my history books.

Kateryn Parr....now this was one smart Queen and how she managed to turn her execution into a stay and continued to live with the King, as Queen until his death.

This book made me see such a different light on the whole Henry VIII and his 6 Queens. I loved how they put his journal on each wife afterwards, you got a feel of where his mind set was and why he did what he did. He was just a much a prisoner as the Queen's were, although they had it much worse. This was well wrtitten, flow was amazing, couldnt put this down for a second.
