Having watched Enola Holmes (2020), and being in need of a Goodread (this pun is tired), I picked up this second novel in the Enola Holmes mystery series. Miss Enola's exploits are just terrific.
As one who somewhat favors first-person narratives, I liked seeing the perditorian's thought processes, from her own mind. Reading her words showed me that she is not a professional. She made mistakes. And that is comforting. Why? I don't get that feelin...read more
