Echoes of Betrayal: Paladin's Legacy

I feel about this whole series the way I imagine those of you who think that George RR Martin is a good writer (which I do not) feel about Game of Thrones. A strong female warrior, gods who are actually there, magic, intrigue, a little romance, a lot of travelling and battle, and ethics I can support -- a magnificent epic series. If you haven't read any of it, start with The Deed of Paksenarrion; this book is part of the second series that deals more with all the other characters and the aftermath of her deeds. Warning: Book 5 isn't out yet.
