The series was fine, but each book was pretty repetitive of the previous. This final one was definitely the most interesting plot wise. The series was definitely not as spicy as I was expecting. Overall, slightly disappointed, but not bad enough to dnf.

FINALLY - the series has reached its conclusion. Am I happy that it’s over? Oh yeah. Am I happy to have read it to see what all the fuss was about. Nope!

This has got to be one of the most over hyped, underwhelming series I’ve read. It’s such an intriguing premise, and maybe with a better writer it could have been better, but I’m sorry to say that I just don’t think Ms. Thalassa is that good of a writer - repetitive and recycled plots, terrible “romance” and sex scenes, ham-fisted morality, all rounded up in seemingly half-researched settings.

Anyways, I’ve slogged through and now I can put them behind me without any lingering thoughts.

Well Shoot, Sadly I was a little disappointed, especially after Famine...which was AWESOME!

This fell short, too dragged out, I finally had to skim a few chapters to get to the last 3 or 4. I did like that Death was like a newborn babe, a virgin, never experienced anything. I thought the dead servants was a nice touch and the sex scenes were really panty wetting worthy, especially when Death shows her how Angels have sex, HOT! Im glad that she brought back all 4 horsmen, and the ending was worth the wait. The fighting at the end was very discriptive and had you on the edge of your seat and what a surprise twist when Death and Lazarus are the last 2 standing, really enjoyed that. War & Famine are awesome in this book, kinda made me miss them, especially Famine. The last chapter was really heart felt and warming, however, I would have liked a chapter of them down the road, having their kids and working as a group to rebuild the world kinda thing. I am glad I read it, I have closure.

Amazing

I stumbled upon this series at the beginning of 2020, unsure what I was getting into. This world swept me away and pulled me in with such amazing characters. Death is no different. So beautiful I wept. It's a series for the ages and one you absolutely should pick up!
