When I interrogated/accidentally killed a Werewolf who was high on a new and dangerous drug called Killblaze, his final words painted a dark reality for me. Aurora Academy isn't a place for the faint of heart. To put it lightly, my town is the cesspit of Solaria where the most cutthroat Fae in the kingdom reside. The school itself is divided by the two gangs who run this city. The Lunar Brotherhood and the Oscura Clan. And guess what? Two of the kings run the gangs at the academy, their hatred for each other so fierce I hear a day doesn't go by without blood being spilled in the halls.
I might be a petite, lilac-haired girl who looks like I couldn't hurt a fly, but they haven't been introduced to my fangs yet. And they don't know why I'm really here. Or that I'll do whatever it takes to bring down the Fae who took my flesh and blood from me.
I don't believe in fate, but I do know this... the King who killed my brother is a dead man walking. And I'm prepared to sacrifice my heart, body and soul to ensure I get my revenge.

I was not prepared for the shift from ZA’s characters to RB’s characters. I was so invested in the ZA storyline that it took a moment to refocus and grasp the plot of RB. Getting the “lay of the land” was quicker with this book than it was with ZA and I quickly became invested in the new characters. The plot has me making guesses as I try to piece together the mystery that is unfolding. Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
I am only reading this as 'book 4' in the series because this seems to be the preferred order. But, honestly, it was a bit discombobulating to jump into a different school with different characters. This was alright, but it didn't give me the same satisfaction as the original. I guess I have to read the rest of RB before I can go back to ZA, though.
My friend Catt said it best. Everytime i think that the next book in the Zodiac Academy universe can’t be better it somehow is!!

MISS GIRL IS HAVING A FIELD DAY WITH THESE BOYS. this is my first why choose and as a monogamous girlie i was like “wait but why can’t we just have one?” but also i’m obsessed with 2 of them so… idk what i want anymore😂
I devoured this book lowkey. Finished in about 4 days and i think it’s because there are traces of Killblaze in between the pages of the books the twisted sisters write. I love it here and i can’t wait to finish the series. Can’t wait to get back to ZA and see how it all ties together. I’m locked in hunnyyyy
