**ARC REVIEW**
Dance of Thorns by Jagger Cole is book six in the Darkest Dance series, but it reads perfectly as a standalone. This was my first entry into the series and I never felt lost for a moment. The suspense, the secrets, and the unraveling trauma kept me completely hooked — I stayed up all night because I physically could not put it down.
The mental-health representation is handled with so much care, and the emotional intensity had me tearing up more than once. The plot is gripping, full of twists and turns that kept me guessing the entire time.
Bane and Dove have survived so much, and their pain is written so vividly it broke my heart. Dove is such a strong, resilient heroine, while Bane is dominant, possessive, and impossible not to love. Watching his hatred toward Dove evolve into something fierce and protective was everything. Their chemistry is electric — the push and pull? Perfection. The spice? Scorching.
