It was very good book. better than the first one. I was transported to a different world. I didn’t want it to end. So much new information and so much detail in the writing that it felt like I was Saeris experiencing her emotions
This book was hard to rate. The first half was admittedly a little slow and didn’t hook me the same way Quicksilver did. But it definitely picked up in the second half, with the third act leaving MY JAW ON THE FLOOR AT EVERY TURN OF THE PAGE. That ending?! Holy gods. I need book 3 like I need AIR.
Man. The revelations that were had in this book are NEXT. LEVEL. EPIC. And the bad-a$$ery that is Saeris Fane? Don't even get me started. This was everything I wanted in a sequel and more. (I could have done with a touch less of the "He's so perfect - She's so perfect - Id die for him/her" lament from them both but STILL love love love everything about this book) So book 3 like now? Please?
