It was very good book. better than the first one. I was transported to a different world. I didnât want it to end. So much new information and so much detail in the writing that it felt like I was Saeris experiencing her emotions
This book was hard to rate. The first half was admittedly a little slow and didnât hook me the same way Quicksilver did. But it definitely picked up in the second half, with the third act leaving MY JAW ON THE FLOOR AT EVERY TURN OF THE PAGE. That ending?! Holy gods. I need book 3 like I need AIR.
I really loved being back in Kingfisherâs world!
Ok but not as good as the first book. Hopefully the next book is better in the series.
I enjoyed it but a lot was going on. A lot of activity but not much happened at the same time. The ending also left me like đ¤. I think id have been a lot more invested if id re-read quicksilver so everything that happened was fresh in my mind. Either way i cant wait to read the 3rd book to find out where this is all going and how it all ends.
Carrion and onyx may be part of my all time favorite side characters.
