I don't even know if I can formulate thoughts for this. I was a little less than half way through and already was wanting to start over and re-read it so it wouldn't end so soon. I went into this knowing the hype and having zero expectations because of that. I stayed away from reviews so I wouldn't read any spoilers...not even reading the synopsis on Amazon. When I tell you it was everything I wasn't expecting and more...
I chose to have my first "read" be on Audible because one of the things I heard the most was that the voice actors did so well...and did they ever! I would have driven myself crazy not knowing pronunciations of characters and places had I dove straight into the physical/digital copy. Now when I go back and do my re-read (because I will SO be doing that! lol) I'll be able to annotate and appreciate it better.
For the sake of not being one of the people I tried to avoid in the reviews, I won't spoil anything...but just do yourself a favor and read this. When I heard "This is the end of Quicksilver", I literally screamed "Noooo!" because I didn't want it to end. And it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger...because of course it did. I still feel like the ending is satisfying for the time being though so the cliffhanger didn't gut me too badly lol.
If you're still on the fence as to whether to read it or not...just do it. You won't regret it.
