Overall, I would rate this a 7.5. I had fun while reading this book and am glad I went back and reread the first book, as there were parts in book two that were murky and clarified upon going back to book one. I enjoyed getting to learn more about the main and side characters and listening to the FMC’s comedic inner dialogue. I do feel like there wasn’t realistically a lot that happened, as crazy as that sounds. I also thought the main romance in the story progressed rather rapidly. The majority of men in this book are terrible but some of them are interesting enough on their own to keep one engaged. Honestly, the worst part of this book was the amount of times I had to hear the phrase “good girl”.
