The INSTANT New York Times bestseller!
The overnight viral sensation everyone is talking about, Blood of Hercules, is a sarcastically funny, dark fantasy romance reimagining of Hercules from bestselling author Jasmine Mas--now available in paperback with full color character art, bonus content, and embossed lettering.
I'm just a girl. And it turns out, I'm Hercules.
I'm struggling to survive in a Titan infested world where Spartans, immortals from twelve royal families who have god-like powers and obscene wealth, rule over all. A shy-stammering foster child with nothing, I keep my head down, cover my scars, and focus on excelling in school. At least, I try to. Then it happens.
My blood test reveals I'm part of the powerful elite. I'm one of them. A Spartan.
Forced to attend the Spartan War Academy, I undergo the most harrowing test of all time to see if I have what it takes to be an immortal. There's just a few problems. Achilles and Patro are my scary mentors. Kharon, the ferryman of death, and Augustus, the son of war, are my terrifying professors. Also, I'm pretty sure either someone's stalking me everywhere I go, or my sanity's slipping--I have a bad feeling both are true.
I'm surrounded by Villains and they're smothering me with their hate, obsession, and dark possessiveness. Too bad for them, they have no clue just who they're messing with.
A Dark Romantasy for readers who love:
Don't miss the electifying sequel to Blood of Hercules, Bonds of Hercules, where the men are getting darker, the stakes are getting higher and the last question you'll ask is who will she choose. Available now!

Readers say *Blood of Hercules* blends Greek mythology with a modern, darkly humorous twist and a sassy, relatable female lead. Fans praise its witty ...
I LOVE LOVE LOVED THIS BOOK!
Give me Greek mythology in a modern world and I will eat it up. And I ate!!!
Alexis is a homeless but very smart 19yo girl who finds out (in the worst way) that she has Spartan blood and is immediately sent into combat. With the help of her invisible snake Nyx, she miraculously survives and is sent to Spartan Academy. But here hasn’t been a female Spartan in 100’s of years. And everyone wants to see her fail. Good luck, girlfriend.
The amount of times I cackled at what Alexis and Nyx had to say. The amount of times I yelled “f*cking kiss her” to Kharon and Augustus.
Alexis is so damn relatable. I love her. Nyx is the best sidekick ever. I love her.
5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️’s for me!!!
Fast paced reading. Trials, violence.
I tolerated Blood of Hercules for exactly one reason: Teddy Hamilton could narrate the Book of Genesis and I’d still be locked in. And honestly? That might have been the only thing keeping me going.
The story opens with our FMC as a 10-year-old foster kid living in a trailer park, obsessed with classical music and mathematicians. Now—listen—I was a poor white trash 10-year-old in a trailer once upon a time, and I did not know the word mathematician, much less crescendo. The characterization immediately pulled me out of the story. On top of that, the book tries very, very hard to be funny while glossing over abusive guardians and an objectively brutal upbringing. I’m not offended by dark humor—but sometimes I want to sit in the weight of a situation. Let it be dire. I’m a grown woman; I can handle discomfort. Instead, the tone felt oddly juvenile, and the stakes never fully landed.
Fast forward: FMC is suddenly 19, and two MMCs decide she’s “the one.” Why? Unclear. They’re obsessively, ravenously into her—with zero convincing development. The book ends with her marrying the two MMCs she actively hates after being coerced into the marriage. Romantic? Not quite. Even more baffling, this same FMC—who hates being touched—allows these two husbands to edge her for an hour immediately post-wedding. This is a virgin heroine who’s had one tense, almost hot moment months earlier with one of them, enough to maybe justify a hate-bang fantasy… but not whatever this was. The emotional and sexual progression made absolutely no sense.
So why did I finish it? Teddy Hamilton. That’s it. The very limited male POV—especially when Teddy was narrating—was the lone bright spot. Otherwise, this book felt far too young, tonally confused, and emotionally hollow. I wanted grit, logic, and growth. What I got was obsession without explanation and spice without foundation.
Final verdict: A waste of time—unless your standards temporarily disappear when Teddy Hamilton speaks.

Just getting started!!
Easily one of my top 3 this year. I love the FMC, the “who did this to you?,” the obsession and stalking and violence—10/10. PS The (solid) spice was there in bits but the tension was there ALLLLL the way through and I suspect we’ll get even more now that ****spoiler***
