My favorite Maddox brother!

Falyn and Taylor make an interesting couple. From the beginning you try to figure out what made Falyn the way she is and the intrigue increases when you learn where she is trying to get to. The emotions surrounding her relationship with Taylor were in the air around me as I read. Since I had read Beautiful Redemption, I knew what was coming before Falyn and it was nerve wrecking the closer it came and I kind of guessed what would come of it. But the ending was beautiful and wonderful. I'm excited for Tyler's book, but just know this one will remain my favorite.

Took me a while to finish, because... well... life.
But once I committed time to it, I was so glad I did. I am so delighted to have been shown the world of Taylor Maddox... He is true to form a Maddox boy, playboy, potty mouth, irresistible to women, and truly devoted to the girl that captures his heart. Sound familiar? YES! But the way that Jamie McGuire can personalize each Maddox's story like this, is just *sighs dramatically* magical. And yet again Falyn the lead girl, the "capturer" of Taylor's heart, is another strong female lead. I loved watching her suit of armor melt away and let love in... it was so relatable. Another female in McGuire's books that gets dragged in, kicking and screaming, and gripping on to their independence, cursing love, but as soon as they loosen their grip the fall is beautiful and so fate driven. High praise again to this lovely tale, and high high praise to the beautiful plot twist, or shall I say it, EPIC CONNECTIONS of novels!!
