Barbarian Alien (Ice Planet Barbarians)

The second novel in the Ice Planet Barbarians series, the international publishing phenomenon—now in a special print edition with bonus materials and an exclusive epilogue!
Liz Cramer swears she’ll find a way off of this alien planet she’s stuck on—then she meets Raahosh, the surliest and stubbornest alien, who won’t leave her alone, and she just might be okay with that...
Twelve humans are left stranded on a wintry alien planet. I’m one of them. Yay, me.
In order to survive, we have to take on a symbiont that wants to rewire our bodies to live in this brutal place. I like to call it a “cootie.” And my cootie’s a jerk, because it also thinks I’m the mate to the biggest, grumpiest alien of the bunch. Raahosh believes the cootie’s right, so he steals me away from the group, determined to make me fall for him—or else.
He has no idea who he’s up against.
And if I didn’t want his insufferable self so much (thanks, cootie), I’d let him know exactly what I’m thinking. As it is, I’m doing my best to fight this instant attraction. Just because the symbiont thinks we’re supposed to be together doesn’t mean I have to go along with it. And if we fool around a little, it’s merely biology. It doesn’t mean I’m in love—or that I’m destined to be his.

Book 2 did not disappoint! Liz is a fierce, take-no-bullshit kind of gal, and I loved every minute of her stubborn sass. I had a feeling trouble would follow when they returned to the group—but exile?! Even my feelings were hurt.
Ruby Dixon continues to make me laugh, blush, and cheer for these human girls trying to find their place in an alien world. I’m still so happy to be on this icy adventure with them… maybe one day I’ll get abducted by aliens and rescued by another set of aliens. A girl can dream, right?

I’m not going to get into anything as far as plot because if you read the first book then you basically know that it’s about a group of human women who were abducted and are, now, trying to acclimate to a new planet, new way of life, and new mates. This one follows Liz and Raahosh. Raahosh separates Liz (who he resonated for and she him) from the others because of fears that stem from his own family history. There is a rocky start to their relationship, but things have a way of working out. This is just plain entertaining. If you approach it that way, you’ll have a good time with a fast read!
liz was very annoying to me. like i understood her thought process and totally agree how she/the rest of the girls were never asked if they even wanted to do what they are doing and basically were stripped of any rights bc they are scared and foreigners on this planet. but she was so mean to raahosh and i felt so bad for him.
I did like this one better than the first one. Will keep reading because I want to know what happens with the rest of the women. Or until I lose interest
Definitely Good read. For half the book I was a bit irritated at Liz & Rahosh’s relationship😂 but in the end it ended well. Exactly how I was hoping for them!
