But now, everything Cassie thought she knew about what happened that night has been called into question. Her mother is alive, and the people holding her captive are more powerful--and dangerous--than anything the Naturals have faced so far. As Cassie and the team work to uncover the secrets of a group that has been killing in secret for generations, they find themselves racing a ticking clock.

This series was amazing. I want to be petty and deducted points for not having more for me to read because I am obsessed. As always, I was on the edge of my seat having my mind blown. The writing in this book is amazing. How the author thinks so far ahead and brings everything, even things from book one, together I will never know. And even though the "You" pov's freaked me out sometimes, they are so needed because they make what's happening so real. I am so excited to continue with this author with the Inheritance Games!

Side note: I am still on TeamMicheal but I am aware that it would not have been the healthiest thing for him.
Side side note: I do like Dean, just liked Micheal better.

As I say goodbye to this (until my next reread) I want Sloane to know that I love her and that I see her, she truly deserves the world. The last fifty (50) pages of this book will always leave me in shambles I fear. This has been a wild and hurtful ride but I would not exchange this experience and these characters for anything. You can just feel in the last fifty pages that we were saying goodbye, that this was it. I loved it and hated it at the same time, so much pain but so much love. Again, I get the urge to immediately go back to the first book in this series and witness these teenagers then and how much their lives have changed since then, so much pain, so much love, and so much learning. Wow! This is a world I would never let go of or become tired of, I have found a home with these people.

QUOTES (My personal takeaways)
"Drawn to scale" - Three of Sloane's favourite words
"She was still the most beautiful woman I had ever seen." - Cassandra Hobbes
"Sometimes, the hardest thing to be is the one who lives." - Dean Redding
