I was provided an advance copy of this novel from the publisher, St. Martin's Press, through Netgalley.

3.75 stars. Hanna doesn't like her mommy, but she loves her daddy. Too much. Baby Teeth is creepy and entertaining and memorable. I'm not sure if I would label it a thriller, but it did keep me reading. I loved that it wasn't simply a story about a bad child. The parents have their own issues, as well. It is well-written, very cinematic, as well. I'm not sure the ending completely satisfied me, but overall, a great debut!

This is the first book that I received from Netgalley for an advanced reader's copy. I thought the premise sounded interesting. I love thrillers and psychological books. I had a hard time getting into the book. Once the author talked about the devil possibly being inside the child and having her speak as the devil I almost gave up. I'm like really? But I kept with it because I was given this book to review. I did like the different perspectives in the book. I almost would like a perspective from the father but I think the author did well placing that in the other stories. It was a quick read and I am glad I finished it. I reminded me of a horror movie that I've watched.

I liked the premise, and it definitely was kinda creepy at times, but dang, there's way too much. So many unnecessary parts. So many flashbacks we didn't need. So many paragraphs spent on description or redundant emotions. Suzette was so annoying. So was Alex. Cliche, wishy-washy, too stubborn to move forward so the story could. Very predictable, too. Good for a quick read if you don't mind skipping parts that drag to get to a mundane and underwhelming (and of course, too drawn out, as well) ending.
